We selected this property in order to be able to visit The Alamo, the Riverwalk, La Villita by walking rather than dealing with a car. The Historic DT San Antonio property dramatically exceeded our expectations! We not only walked to above mentioned sites quicky and safely - we loved exploring the many restaurants in the King William neighborhood. Found several great restaurants - Hola being our very favorite. The Home was beautifully updated, but still retaining the "turn of the nineteenth century charm"! Loved many things about this vacation spot - but having the Hot Tub available at the end of our very packed sight-seeing days was a huge PLUS!!!!

Fantastic location right on the Riverwalk easy to explore the city on foot. Staff were super friendly, rooms were spacious and clean.
The free drinks and snacks in the evening were a nice bonus, and the included breakfast was solid.
Great value for a family trip.
