Obviously recently renovated the rooms were very compact but well appointed and cleverly designed to make good use of space. Great location in Hillcrest - nice and handy to San Diego zoo.

Monse and her team has been very accomodating. I love the historical feeling of the house. The condition of the house js so well maintained, it feels very comfortable and home like. Breakfast and happy hour have been pleasant. It feels like coming home after an afternoon at beach. I love there's a fireplace in the second room, it feels very nice. The house is close to Coronado beach, restaurants and cafes.

We stayed in the newly renovated family suite. It was amazing. Every facility possible with the small kitchen. There was a sitting room with pull out bed and two bedrooms, both ensuite. Complimentary breakfast also. Our flight was delayed so the free shuttle was not running but the hotel refunded us $30 dollars towards the taxi.

My best friend and I were there on February, it was our first time staying at an hostel and we loved it. The staff is very friendly. We stayed in a room to be shared with other 2 girls. Rooms are clean, comfortable beds with lockers to keep your stuff. We were surprised they had towels for you to use, bathrooms are always clean and showers have hot water. The kitchen is just exactly what you need, nothing fancy, just a nice kitchen with all what you need. Big stove, big fridge to keep your food. Location is away from downtown but it's easy to access to public transport to explore around.
I will definitely stay there next time.
