Putting the 'home' in homestay! I was offered fruit and tea multiple times during my short stay. When I told I lost my charger, she gave me a spare one instead of recommending me a nearby store like I asked. Still, she did not accept my tip as she found it important to be this welcoming. What a wonderful home!

There was no breakfast as part of the deal but I think I still got great value for money. The apartment was accessible by lift (it opened up directly to our apartment). Came with 2 bathrooms (one shared with the master bedroom and another common bathroom). Does not have a bathtub but that's okay. The water is hot when needed considering it was rather cold when we visited Hanoi. There were some flies around but it was not overly irritating. The apartment comes with a dishwasher and crockery and cutleries so you can order in food and consume them comfortably. Also, the stove (induction cooking), microwave oven and spacious refrigerator makes it excellent to prepare simple meals. Oh there are no utensils apart from a handful of pots and pans.
The washer-slash-dryer is very useful if you're staying for an extended duration so there's no need to bring too many clothes. Just an overnight run with the machine sets you for the rest of the trip.
Using the TV was a bit of a challenge as the default language was set to Vietnamese. So we did not watch much TV. There's no safe in the room so you may have to bring your valuables with you when you walk around.

Daisy's Stay is a very welcoming and charming little homestay. Located in a very convenient area of Hanoi with local food and cafes around every corner, it's hidden inside a little alley that protects you from the street noise. My room was clean and neat. Daisy herself was communicative and helpful, and made sure to take very good care of the guests.

Special thanks to the most helpful manager. I lost my wallet and would like to file for a record from the police office. It was super hard for me to communicate with the police there and took me around 2 days to handle this issue. Manager offered so much help and even worked extra hours to settle the whole thing for me. Thank you so much! Super great location in the Hanoi, basically close to everywhere.
