I stayed here for 3 nights. Location-wise, this is a perfect spot if you are planning to walk everywhere and be at the center of the old quarter. The staff was super nice and warm. Every time I arrived in the afternoon or evening, they always asked how my day was, which was super helpful for getting some recommendations and made me feel at home. The breakfast was also really good at a reasonable price! This hostel has it all! I will definitely stay here again next time.

I had the loveliest stay at the Salute, and it's sister hotel, Scent Premium Hotel. Not only were the rooms beautiful and clean and comfortable (and stylish!) and the breakfast everything you could want and more, but the staff were just so kind and friendly and helpful. I was taken ill one of the nights of my stay and they were so caring and kind and brought me everything I needed and checked on me and as a solo traveller it meant the world to me and made the experience so much better than it would have been otherwise. I also forgot a pair of nice earrings in my room at the Scent and the staff made sure they got them to me, so so kind of them. On the morning of my departure, as I was flying quite early, they boxed up breakfast and made sure it was ready to go with me. Really I was overwhelmed with how kind and helpful everyone was. They also helped me find a Ha Long bay tour, and also I took advantage of the spa in the Scent Premium and had a fabulous full body massage and body scrub and facial for a very reasonable price. Couldn't recommend enough! Thank you guys!

We received welcome drinks and food right after arrival, while being explained everything there is to know about the hotel. Room was very clean, maybe a little bit small but still nice. We could store our luggage at the reception after checking out and what’s even better we were offered to take a shower before our long trip home on the evening when we picked out luggage. On the moment of our departure we were surprised with sudden, extremely heavy rain and the staff helped us to get to the taxi while getting completely wet themselves. Amazing customer care!

The staff were exceptional. Having Lee and Viet was a blessing to help organize our time in hanoi, including day trips around as well as ha long bay overnight cruise.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone travelling to Hanoi for the first time especially.
