We really enjoyed our stay at the Maison Royale. The owner and his family are really nice and they create a very friendly atmosphere at their place. The room was clean and nice, and since we were staying longer it was also cleaned in the meantime. It had an AC and fridge which were great to find a respite from the hot weather outside. There were also some dishes we could use and a kettle. Location is also a huge bonus. It is close enough to the city centre to feel convenient for sightseeing there, while being far enough to be less tourist-centric. On the opposite side of the street there is a great pho place and also there is a big, local market 15 min away by foot. Would highly recommend for a stay in HCMC!
