Great location near old town, large and quiet area, very comfortable sunbeds, excellent rooms with everything you need.

Vintage style, airy lobby, cleanness. Extraordinary hospitality of manager - Helen, who was super helpful, patient and with very good English.

The bed was so comfortable, the pool was lovely and the staff were just great! So lovely, helpful and friendly. This hotel is also in the perfect location and breakfast is great.

The owner is friendly and very helpful. We really like the swimming pool, especially when traveling with family and having kids. The location is quite close to the Old Town so walking around is really easy and fast. Big bed, comfortable matress and pillows

This was the most beautiful place i have ever been. Every design lover would appreciate the interiors here. Room was clean and comfortable. The whole place has really calming vibe. It is located on quiet street in a walking distance (5-7 minutes) to old town and rice fields. It provides free bikes which is great. The breakfast is fresh and beautifully served. But i guess the best advantage is the staff that is really helpufl, kind and provides all the service you need.

We love Hanoi and it such a beautiful town. The best home stay we stayed. The room is very clean and the bed is comfy. Location is so close to the shops Restaurants and Old town. And most of all thanks to Hien for all the help booking our flights, taxi, laundry and never ending Restaurants suggestions. The owner are nice too and even woke up early to say goodbye to us.

Staff provided exceptional hospitality at this boutique hotel. We felt very taken care of as foreigners. Most staff spoke English and would take time to talk with us as we passed through the entrance. They were gracious in our attempts to practice basic Vietnamese phrases and help us with mistakes. They helped make phone calls to local businesses when we needed to communicate in Vietnamese. For example, helping us book a tennis court at the local facility, which we could bike to in 10 minutes or research shipping options back to the US. The rooms were well appointed and the pictures were accurately represented on the website. The room was clean, furniture comfortable, and decor charming. Only minor wear and tear to speak of. I found the mattress a little firmer than ideal, but never developed a sore back or hips. We stayed for around 2 weeks and used the kitchen frequently. It was helpful to have the rice cooker, given the cooktop contained only one burner. A skillet and pot were provided, along with a handful of utensils and a cutting board. We did need to supplement from our travel kitchen supplies on a daily basis, but overall more items were supplied than most kitchens we've encountered in hotel units like this. The amenities we valued most was the fairly reliable and fast internet, the in-unit washer/dryer, complementary filtered water dispenser, kitchen equipment and free bicycles. The view from the rooftop pool area is nice, although it wasn't warm enough to swim during our winter stay. Although this hotel is outside of the historic Old Town area, we found it preferable to stay in a neighborhood where locals live. The walk into the start of the historic area was only 10 minutes, even quicker if you use the free bicycles. You have more authentic and more affordable food options outside of the primary tourist area and have an opportunity to meet people in the community.

Mr. Hai was an excellent and attentive host. He helped me book a bus to the airport, a tour to the My Son ruins (recommended), lent me a bike and an umbrella. He was always in the lobby. The hotel is a 10 minute walk to the old part of town with its many sites, so away from noise. You'd have to take a taxi to get to the beach though (5 km away).
