My stay at Rosa Hotel was absolutely outstanding! The location is on a very quite side street of the town's main street, so just a short walk from most of the town's amenities: the street market, the beach, supermarkets, restaurants and so on. The hotel has a classy retro vibe but rooms are stylishly modern and kept impeccably clean. Last but not least the staff is absolutely helpful and friendly!

I stayed 14 nights at the Ambedo hotel and never regretted booking it. The rooms are so LARGE! I loved the quiet AC, the spacious bathroom, the equipment with mosquito plug and water kettle etc
There was a LARGE bed with comfortable mattress.
It was QUIET at night, no noise from the road. The 12 rooms face a tidy, beautiful green garden with a clean pool. The hotel has a nice kitchen that the owners and staff use - and it's free to use for customers, too. Fully equipped, and nobody minded me using their salt and oil and garlic etc.
But mostly I enjoyed the staff. Smiling ladies. Not at all fluent in English - but always helpful and friendly.
I REALLY can recommend this place.
A pretty big supermarket and many little shops just around the hotel. You have to walk or take a motorbike to get to nicer beaches and restaurants from here, though.
The hotel sells beer and GOOD coffee at reasonable rates. They rent motorcycles.
