The rooms are exquisitely decorated, and beds/pillows are super comfy. The guest house has the most beautiful rooftop breakfast area with direct views of Table Mountain. It is very safe being opposite a police station, so outside parking on the street is secure. The staff are amazing, particularly Nandi, who did the rooms and breakfast. She went over and above to make us feel at home. Casa del Sonder is the perfect place to base yourself in the city when staying in Cape Town. Easy and quick to walk/Uber anywhere. We found it very central. Thank you so much for hosting us. We will be back:)

I think La Rose Bed and Breakfast is a hidden beautiful gem all the way in the historical BoKaap area with a wealth of history. I arrived later after my work function The reception on duty, Lovemore, one of the staff was gracious, welcoming, and full of enthusiasm or vibrant even though it was almost the next day or morning and gave me a tour of the place. My room was neat, clean, and very warmly welcoming. Then, the next day, the continental breakfast devine from resident Chef Ms T. compliments, well done, the mini cake chocolate muffins are excellent, everything else, too, at breakfast. The magical heaven staircases to ones room is so awesome then the unique decor just adds more character to this unique place.Then, one of the owners, Yoann, is humble , approachable, invested, engaging, kind, and very informative about what to do in Cape Town even in Western Cape as possible activities for all guests local or international. Excellent accommodation. Views on the top of the roof spell bounding or breathtakingly zen.#Mzansiaccomodationrocks. Local is lekker.

Host was very friendly and helpful right after the booking. She followed up with our booking again 1 week before we came. Called her in the night for the heater and she promptly answered the call to assist us. It was a waste that we only stayed for a night.

The staff was amazing, besides being very attentive to specific demands, they were very warm and nice people who added a special touch to the whole experience that you don't usually find in a hotel.
