I always stay at Hotel Perte at least twice a year. I spend new years eve here every single year. I've been staying at Hotel Perte since it opened. Another amazing thing is that the cleaning staff are very friendly and absolutely honest. I sometimes stay over a week and I never had to lock up my stuff in my absence, all valuables were completely safe

The City was quite, enjoyable my first day before check in I took my family to Carnival City they were so impressed the next took them to Gold Reef City it was so fun then later for evening meals to Mall of Africa 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽❤️❤️❤️💃💃💃🕺🕺🕺They enjoy the trip with Alcazaba hotel offering us fresh baths in between and easy access to and from our trips

A big Thank you to the reception staff. They are so friendly and assist a lot. A big Thank you to velile and van wyk for being professional and loving. They really made our stay the best. Assisting us with our bags from our car to our rooms-they are simply the best. Our mothers really enjoyed the warmth.

Johannesburg, or Jo'burg, has this unique energy; always alive, always moving, but with a deep history that makes you reflect. I’ve visited the Apartheid Museum, the Zoo, and Mandela House, and I left with a mix of emotions. The museum really hits hard, making you feel the weight of the past, while Mandela’s house gives you a sense of hope, like a reminder of how far the country has come. The Zoo was a nice break, a peaceful spot in the middle of the city, yet you still feel connected to the urban rhythm. What’s really interesting about Jo'burg is that, despite being a bustling city full of history, it’s also surprisingly green. There are lots of parks and green spaces like Zoo Lake and the Botanical Gardens, perfect for unwinding and enjoying the weather. The contrast between the busy city life and these calm, green areas really make the city stand out. Plus, places like Maboneng and Newtown are full of creative energy, with amazing food and a lively art scene. The weather is almost always sunny, and the people are super friendly, which makes Jo'burg feel warm and welcoming. What would be nice is that, with every visit, you find something new; whether it’s in the history, the art, or just the hidden green spots around the city

The hotel was very comfortable with good facilities and comfortable beds The breakfast was excellent with the option of freshly squeezed juices and eggs, oats as requested. We also had dinner with soup, pizza and pasta and the quality was very good. The staff were very helpful and cheerful The staff at the front desk were very helpful and organised taxis / uber for airport, sightseeing and the Sandton mall We stayed here on the way into and out of South Africa

As a foreign from Botswana firstly we know there is lotnof car theft in south africa 🇿🇦 but Mint Express Melrose comforted me those fears have been washed away I trust the hotel security. There is safety, the rooms are affordable and clean you sleep like a baby .not forget the staff 👌 Most of my business trips are in Pretoria but I will drive all the way to Bramley Street to Melrose for a stay ,passed 7months been doing tat

The location was great and secluded but close to every major thing in the city of Joburg, - Sandton, Mall of Africa, Rosebank and the CBD. I loved my room. It was secluded. I felt like I was the only one on the property. I would come and go without anyone noticing or seeing me. The staff was always available and at hand to help promptly. Everything is super clean.

The Hotel Location is EXCELLENT, very central in JNB, and being a tall building, has a wonderful view . The hotel has direct internal access to the Stanton mall with its multitude of shops. Although South Africa is currently experiencing "Load Shedding", (Regular, scheduled power cuts), the Hotel generators immediately worked within seconds.
