This is an excellent, budget-friendly lodge with great staff. The tents are just beautiful. The lodge offers a variety of activities and it’s just amazing how the animals roam around the property freely. The swimming pull and the views are great as well.

Riverside Guest Lodge offers panoramic views of Grobbelaars River and Swartberg Mountains. It offers air-conditioned rooms and wooden cottages.

I booked this for my parents on their way back home after a medical procedure in Cape Town. My mother absolutely loved it. The owner was so kind and helpful, upgraded their room, which was fully kitted out with everything. The bed was comfortable and the balcony had super views.

The welcome was exceptional, with a glass of wine and an interesting conversation with Venita. The place is unbeatable: every detail has been carefully chosen, and it shows. The house is beautiful and our bedroom, besides being beautiful, was very comfortable. I should mention that we booked the wrong date, and she changed it for us without any problem. In the morning, since we had to go see the meerkats, she served us breakfast when we came back. It was a pity not to stay longer. Everything 10/10!!

The Featherbed was great value for money for our family of four. The accommodation was modern, very comfortable, and had all the amenities for a long stay. To add to the warmth of the property, the host was marvellous with loving and genuine personal care and to our comfort. We also enjoyed the use of the pool table and the common area during our stay. The property also boasts lovely two person accommodation, well separated from family units, which is great for discerning couples or business minded individuals. Thank you for a lovely short stay. We hope to be back for a longer stay in the near future.

Karen and Tracy are lovely hosts. We had the two luxury tents and the Honeymoon hut for a party of 6. The evening braai and breakfast were excellent. Great cooks. But what really was totally WOW, was the location and views of the Mountains and Klein Karoo. Being close to nature but also to all the tourist sites. We did a nice morning hike on the property. Very highly recommend for the authentic Klein Karoo and "out of Africa" Experience. Would definitely come again and will send all friends there should they visit the area.
