Berat is the first place I stayed, since I arrived in albania. The hotel was excellent, clean, and brand new. the view from my room was breathtaking, the breakfast is located at the back of the hotel Plaza berat, it's called hotel gega the sister company, it takes 1 minute by walk, this is only for temporary as their breakfast lounge is still under construction and will be ready by next year. I would like to thanks all the staff at this hotel they were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay, namely Roza, Katerina, Rudi, they were always smiling, friendly and ready to help. And to all the housekeeping thank you for making up my room very well, I loved the convenient location close to major attractions, restaurant and bar. I will definitely come back here again!

The atmosphere, the traditional albanian hospitality and vibe was all over the place. The breakfast was top and was one of the reasos as of the other reviews that we wanted to taste and it didnt disapoint. The welcoming was at top. great stay, I recomand it.

The location is very good in the middle of the castle, the view from there is amazing exactly like the staff.The girl who worked there was so nice helped us with everything that we needed and prepared something very sweet in the room for my birthday. She gave me flowers, a small cake and a bottle of wine that they are making by them self!! It was very tasty, try it when you are there. I would visit again!

The house is located near the center, just about 5min walking. The family didn't speak much English, but they were very nice and we were able to communicate anyways. The room was exactly as the pictures, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was ok.
