The hospitality of this family is over the top! Staying in the Rama guesthouse was really an authentic experience. Even though the guesthouse is still under construction, we were provided with everything we needed, the bed was very comfortable. We had a very delicious vegetarian dinner, they packed the breakfast for the hike and even dropped us off closer to the Theth hike start. Even though the grownups did not talk in English very well, the children were more than happy to chat or help. Recommended!

We booked Valbona Relax for 3-nights to explore Valbone, and it is truly a beautiful and wonderful place. The rooms and bathrooms are kept super well, the food and break is home-made, and the water supply is fresh from the river (one of the cleanest in Albania). We look forward to visiting again. The owner, his family and employees are all wonderful.

Gorgeous location & facility. Warm welcome. Young woman (hostess) was lovely & spoke great English. The evening meal was tasty & filling. Room was great. Thank you!! Also close to start of Theth hike so just a short, flat walk to trail head (2.6km?)

After hiking from Theth to Valbonë, this place was a magical oasis of hot shower, cold beer and warm, comfortable bed. Felt like we were sleeping on a warm fluffy cloud. The hotel is modern, clean and warm. It has a bar and restaurant, so you can get dinner & breakfast. Be forewarned, it is cash payment only in the mountains. Wake up vibrant and refreshed after your hike through the magical mountains.

Such kind staff and make me feel welcome the minute we stepped on property! The room was clean and comfy, and we slept so well. Breakfast was delicious and the check out was easy and quick.
