Everything was perfect! The apartment was amazing, everything was clean, a spectacular view from the balcony and kitchen was very well equipped! The stuff was also very nice and very helpful and flexible with the check-in time. We didn’t miss anything during our trip!

The view from this accommodation was stunning. Mountains, trees, houses far away. In the night, all you hear was wind and river stream. Lots of nice hiking or climbing opportunities nearby, we had a car but even without a car it seemed not impossible to get around (by local bus). An hour drive and you get to pretty town of Innsbruck too. When we checked in online, sightseeing card for some local attractions for each one of us was offered for free.

Surrounded by the impressive mountain scenery of the Kitzbühel Alps, this hotel offers a quiet location in the centre of Auffach, the last village in the Wildschönau valley.

We enjoyed all aspects of our stay.

With mountain views, Gasthof Schöntal is located in Oberau and has a restaurant, a lift, bar, garden, sun terrace and outdoor fireplace. With garden views, this accommodation offers a balcony.

Lovely room, lovely breakfast, stunning location and Christian the owner was brilliant. We used the Gasthof Schontal as a base for travelling to and from Kitzbuhel for a days skiing and the Hahnenkahm races. A half hour drive takes you to Kirchberg in Tyrol where there is free parking and a free shuttle train which takes you into Kitzbuhel itself. Perfect

The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is a little out of town but this also means it is very peaceful. You can walk down to the town via a delightful path through the forest. The path is well marked and easy to follow. The local bus service stops near the hotel too. The breakfast room has very nice views across the valley and the hotel restaurant serves very nice meals.
