Great place to stay for a weekend getaway with family! We were delighted by the hospitality, had an excellent room and great breakfast. And our daughter got to pet the cats and rabbits, a warm chocolate was offered to her after a walk in the snow, and the owner was more than helpful in every way. We had a great time, thank you :)

Great experience - you are staying really inside the castle - the apartment is in small house that is part of the castle enforcement (not king's chambers :)). The castle is renovated, clean and there is an Italian restaurant by the entrance. You collect keys from the locker inside the castle. There are two apartments so mind the names :) The apartment itself was clean, comfy, has toilet separated from bathroom - both equipped with very modern appliances.

If you're planning a visit to the Wachau Valley, this is probably the best place. Be sure to book your stay with breakfasts, which are delicious. Truly world-class. Breakfast was served on the terrace overlooking the Danube. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. In the evening, after returning from exploring the valley, we enjoyed a pleasant time on the terrace with a glass of local wine. Highly recommended!

Set beside a lake and the river Danube, there's nice woody lake walk right outside the door, the food was delicious and the owner was very attentive. Breakfast was delightful too. Very pleased we stayed here and would happily stay again. Nice cosy place with a warm homely feeling.

Set directly on the riverbank of the Danube, the family-run Gasthof Haselberger offers scenic views of the surrounding landscape. The restaurant serves home-made cuisine and local wine.

We were made to feel very welcome upon arrival and we were able to store our bikes in the garage. We had a lovely room with a view over the Danube and a balcony. Beds were really comfortable and the shower was great. We were the only guests (as it was Sunday night) but we still had a full breakfast laid out for 2. We ate in the restaurant which was fine. The menu is very limited though. Overall, a lovely stay.
