The small town is a beautiful "jewel box" (that's how we say it in Hungarian). I took a walk in the morning in the sunshine and it was breathtaking: Mountains, river, bridges, viaduct, classic Austrian houses... Quiet, safe and just 20 minutes drive to the Semmering ski resort. Brand new and beautifully constructed apartment. The aim was not to have as many small rooms / beds as possible... Roomy spaces everywhere: Huge American kitchen, giant living room, king size bathroom :) Claudius the host is super nice and kind. He helped us with everything we needed.

We had an amazing stay at Herrnhof! The estate has a fascinating history and is perfectly located at the foot of the mountains with unbelievable views all around. Hiking trails start just nearby, which made it a perfect base for our adventures. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The apartment itself was perfect - fully equipped, and incredibly comfortable. A truly memorable experience!

Everything was great! We even had things we thought we wouldn't - fridge and a microwave. There was also a common area with coffee machine, kettle and dishes. The position was excellent and the host super nice and helpful. They also talked us through main hiking options and provided details about concrete routes when we asked. Moreover, the shower was great (compared to an average accomodation).
