Very nice, cozy, clean, in a small village so very peaceful. The heating was on, so it was nicely warm. Only about 15min drive from Bastogne. The owners are very nice, it's a pity that they only speak French. But they explain easily, slowly, they show everything, so it's not a problem. They live in the same house, so it was not a problem that we arrived later due to traffic jams. We were offered breakfast, but we didn't order one. There was a small welcome suprise, peanuts and candies, also coffee, tea, sugar at disposal, and kitchen well equipt. Towels, soup and shampoo also at disposal. We were very satisfied 🙂

The breakfast was amazing! So much lovely food for a modest price, and delivered to the apartment at an agreed time. So many facilities and beautiful views.

Within what is offered : a self made hotel style bed and breakfast in the Ardennes countryside the Maison Jules could hardly be better. It is a work in progress and people who complain about a wire sticking out of a wall or a messy garden should be forbidden of ever staying in the country side anywhere ontbos planet and stay at the Waldorf Astoria only or in any clinical suburb formula hotel if the Astoria is above budget. The beds were better than expected although perhaps slightly hard. The decoration is very tasteful mixing modern design with brocante elements. Breakfast was bake off but from a real baker and was part tailored and if you want more ….just ask. We wish the host every succes in finishing the rest.

Very quiet location, in the middle of nowhere, with great views if you walk 200 meter (there is a bench to enjoy these views). Very friendly and welcoming hosts, easy going people. The studio is cozy in a nice house with a great garden, with parking and a private entrance. I tend to have terrible back pain while sleeping, but on this rather hard and sturdy mattress I slept like a baby (might have woken up the hosts or some wildlife with my snoring though, apologies). The host is very knowledgeable about the region, as he runs some kind of information/documentation service about the Ardennes. For me the perfect balance between genuine hospitality and respecting my privacy.
