We were in Bulgaria in April, so before high-season. Therefore, at least we guess so, like in many other places in Bulgaria before, we were the only guests at Chalet Balkan. Which might have contributed to an amazingly quiet and relaxing stay in this beautiful place surrounded by nature, impecable service and good food.

A very bright, spacious and well-presented flat. It is situated in a very short walking distance to the city centre in a quiet area. The beds were very comfortable to sleep on. We loved the self-check-in/check-out service. The host, who is very quick at responding to messages, provided us with very detailed instructions and pictures of where the property is located and how to find the car park. A perfect place to stay if visiting Gabrovo!

I had an amazing stay! The studio is exceptionally cozy and thoughtfully designed to make guests feel at home. One feature that really stood out was the water dispenser. Unlike other places where you have to buy and carry heavy bottles of water, here they’ve gone the extra mile to provide this convenience. It’s these small details that make a big difference.
