Very good and quick communication for booking, reservation & recommendations. Easy in and out. Everything was there and more, Mini Fitness (which we would have used if we had stayed longer), postcard sendings, Coffee & snacks (kids were super happy!)

The location is perfect when driving the Cabot Trail, which we were. The check-in and check-out was so easy and everything was as described by the owners.

Michelle is one outstanding host, I cannot say any less. Caring, funny, she will make you feel at home. Do not pass by without staying here in Cheticamp. We were on our motorcycles and it rained during the night. The next morning Michelle had brought some towels on our motorcycles to wipe them down, now this is 5 star service. Thanks again Michelle, hope to see you again some day! Tony and Cynthia Compton, QC

Our stay at the Outback Inn was absolutely fabulous on both occasions. We loved everything about it. The owner thought of absolutely everything that we would need for our stay worth them. The staff was so cheerful and helpful with recommendations in the area, we felt like special visitors. Thank you, and we will absolutely be returning next summer, "or maybe over the winter", sounds like a marvellous idea for a few days stress-free.

Michelle the owner was great! She welcomed like I was family and gave me so much great info for things to see and do in cheticamp. The location is just a min or 2 by var from the main strip. I was in room #3 which was super cute and had everything I needed and more!

The owner of this Inn truly made us feel at home. She was there to answer any questions, give us names of places we could get some food (as we arrived late to the inn our first day), left us maps of the trails and recommendations on what might be fun! The location was perfect for walking the Gypsum Mine Trail -- and is a must see! We also highly recommend this location for the popular Skyline Trail.

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Nova Scotia. Michelle MacLean attended school in Chéticamp, and saw the single-storey building change owners and functions over the years. She and her husband Barry have transformed the vintage schoolhouse into a series of cozy, comfy, highly individual guest rooms appointed with all “mod cons”. Michelle is a generous, sunny host who respects her guests’ privacy but is always ready to make their experience even more memorable. The environs are quiet and pastoral.
