Loved the location in the forest, the do it yourself breakfast, our room looking out into the forest (it was snowing the morning we woke up, beautiful fluffy flakes) and 2 person hot tub with a starry night view deep in the woods was unreal. Also loved the unique gym/studio!

Comfy bed, clean bedding, lots of linens, everything we needed to prep our meals. Good internet connection We loved canoeing and the hot tub and making a fire in the fireplace. We had breakfast on the dock in the sun. Very romantic and beautiful location. Friendly staff and no mosquitoes! Absolutely perfect weekend! We hope to be back!

The Cottage was fantastic, just what I needed for my solo visit to Salt Spring Island. Well equipped with essential food and snacks and washing equipment, which was very handy for me as I biked from Victoria and packed light. The bed was so comfy and the cottage has a real charm to it, the photos don't do it justice! Location is great for Ganges and there are some nice trails nearby. The Salt Spring Wild Cider house is on the doorstep and a visit here is a must. The food and cider are amazing. The owner Pauline is one of the loveliest people I have ever met, a true Canadian gem! Her life story is amazing, she is a mine of information and she goes well out of her way for people. I really hope to be back some day soon!

Better water equipment as a paddling equipment, or at least information to bring your own paddles. We enjoyed water sports but we couldn't use it as we expected. That was disappointing

    The cottage was beautiful inside and out. It was perfectly suited for 3 couples and a child. The lake was an added bonus with the canoe and paddle boards. The kitchen was also fully equipped with dishes, bowls and cutlery. I would bring my own pots and pans though.

    The layout of the cottages are super cute. Location is great. Decor is really nice. We could have moved in and lived there forever. Bathrooms were super beautiful and the bathtubs were amazing! Blackout curtains were great and helpful with getting small kids to sleep.

    We had a wonderful family weekend getaway here. The 3 bedroom cottage we rented was exactly what we needed. All the staff were friendly and the weather even allowed us to use the cottages canoes and stand up paddle boards on the small lake that the property faces.

    This was a wonderful cottage, within a small community of similar cottages that shared a lake. It was quiet and the cottage was spacious, well maintained, and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. We were 2 couples staying there for a family event on the island. The layout of the cottage allowed lots of privacy for each couple, with one taking the large bedroom with ensuite on 2nd floor (loft) and the other had the full walkout basement suite. An absolute fantastic place to stay. I highly recommend it.

    The duty manager was very quick to respond to our request for replacements of the missing items, ie towels, deck chairs, glassware, some cutlery etc. The cottage is generally very well kept and clean and the location is splendid. The dock area is well supplied with various canoes, paddle boards etc. It's an ideal place for holidaying with family and friends in a beautiful setting.
