Outstanding family run B&B that was charming, clean, and situated in the heart of the Appenzell region with access to unbelievable scenery and hiking. Wonderful hospitality from Abongile who provided all the local knowledge and recommendations. She went above and beyond to help us with a parking ticket as well. Amazing local organic breakfast was provided every morning, with the scrambled eggs in particular a highlight. WiFi was fast!

Better than expected. Trails nearby. Easy parking. Room was very comfortable and updated. During the summer, it was nice to have a fan in the room. We had a great dinner on one night. The host and staff were all very friendly and helpful. We would gladly stay here again.

This is a beautiful little cabin with stunning views. It was near to Appenzell and Gais. There’s a bit of a walk steep and upwards after you park up, only a minute or so, but just make sure you bring good shoes. Our children loved it, especially the sheep. Highly recommended

Esther is an excellent host who welcomes us warmly and introduces the apartment in details. Welcome drink and snacks are nice. Well-appointed and really spotless apartment with everything neatly set. Nice garden with a clean swimming pool. Greenly country view. Very quiet at night. We also visited the deer farm and my daughters liked it very much. Thank you Esther. Highly recommended. A really relaxing environment that provides all we need for our short stay.

I loved the friendly staff! The room was very clean, even though the hotel is on the road side it is still quiet in the room. Nice shower. Nice bed to sleep after long tiring day. The breakfast is nice. The food from the menu in the restaurant is just amazing, seasonal, fresh. The local wine that I was suggested was very delicious, loved both red and white. Coffee was also very delicious. Shortly, I would really suggest this hotel. They are 3 stars hotel, but for the atmosphere, food, service and the friendly staff - they are 5 star hotel!
