Modern spa hotel with everything modern, and of high quality. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The high-up location was difficult to reach with bicycles but offered a great view over Bodensee. The breakfast was great. The spa area was also great with a good-sized pool and multiple wellness rooms. The storage room for bikes was the best we experienced - in a disused hotel nearby offering a large spacious area and plenty of bike tools (which we didn't need, but could have been handy).

The Forum Hotel enjoys a quiet location in Widnau in the Rhine Valley, close to the N13 motorway and Lustenau in Austria. It offers free parking.

This is a beautiful little cabin with stunning views. It was near to Appenzell and Gais. There’s a bit of a walk steep and upwards after you park up, only a minute or so, but just make sure you bring good shoes. Our children loved it, especially the sheep. Highly recommended

Esther is an excellent host who welcomes us warmly and introduces the apartment in details. Welcome drink and snacks are nice. Well-appointed and really spotless apartment with everything neatly set. Nice garden with a clean swimming pool. Greenly country view. Very quiet at night. We also visited the deer farm and my daughters liked it very much. Thank you Esther. Highly recommended. A really relaxing environment that provides all we need for our short stay.

Hotel was very clean and had a nice restaurant serving very nice and locally sourced food and drinks. Hotel personnel were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Location was good too, only 15 minutes walk to the Heerbrugg train station. Overall a very nice place.
