We arrived late and did not have time to shop for food, so she gave our kids some of her cereal bars :) The property is located in a residential area, across the street from a park. It is very calm. You will need to drive (or public transit) to Locarno, but is close to the centre of Ascona and there are groceries a short drive away and easy access to other routes.
