Great location, friendly staff, awesome breakfast. I also loved that the hotel gave us a card that we could use for free local transport. The breakfast was wonderful with many options - eggs, various meats and local cheeses, salad ingredients with their homemade dressing, local baked goods and a waffle station. Kiki and Rolf were amazing, obliging hosts. The breakfast each morning was delicious, varied and nutritious. The B&B was secure and easily accessible using a swipe card. The area was very handy to the trams so getting around Basel was very easy.

We stayed in the two-bedroom apartment for a week as we prepared to leave Switzerland after 17 years. It was a bitter-sweet time for us, but we were immediately at ease when we checked in. The apartment was spacious, clean and fully stocked. Everything one could think of was at our disposal. Kai is a thoughtful host and if we needed anything we just needed to message him and he was ready to help. The location is fantastic with two tram lines just a 5 minute walk from the apartment. Supermarkets and restaurants are all around. For an expensive city like Basel this guesthouse is a real find.
