The host was truly wonderful – very kind, thoughtful, and genuinely welcoming. The house is beautifu and clean. Her dog is also incredibly friendly. We and our dog had a fantastic stay. The bed is very comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious. This stay was one of the highlights of our trip. Thanks for the great recommendations on places to visit – we really enjoyed them as well. She is a truly respectable and inspiring senior who deserves to be treated with the same sincerity and kindness she shows to her guests. The wonderful welcome - was one of the best ever! Insisted I had a lovely cool drink on arrival. The staff were totally faultless, very hard working, nothing was too much trouble and wonderfully friendly. A beautiful old building with some great recently refurbished rooms. Great restaurant, lovely local beers and very nice food. Breakfast was great too. A very relaxed place to stay.
