Both the room and bathroom were spacious, modern, spotless and had windows. The bed was comfortable, with nearby usb and normal plug sockets. Wifi was quick. Rösti for dinner was delicious, and the breakfast produce was fresh and tasty. Quiet, despite its central location. Free parking in front. Warm welcome from friendly owners. I would happily return!

We had a wonderful experience at Hotel und Restaurant Chäseren in Schönengrund. The guesthouse is extremely charming and welcoming, surrounded by breathtaking scenery with a direct view of the Swiss Alps and the impressive Säntis mountain — it looks like a postcard! The rooms are very cozy and warm, with windows that frame the landscape like a painting. The food is a true highlight: homemade, prepared with great care, and absolutely delicious. When we arrived, we were welcomed with a meal made especially for us — a gesture that shows the warmth and hospitality of the place. We are very happy with our choice and will always carry this experience in our hearts. Highly recommended!

We (2 adults + 2 teen kids) have stayed at this lovely holiday home surrounded by beautiful landscape, which is also well cared for and equipped with everything you could have thought of. Land lady was very kind and has served us a dinner upon request. Since many restaurants in the area were closed including hers during the festive season, she did us a big favour to supply the dinner at the comfort of the house we are staying, despite she was having the holiday shutdown to enjoy the family. Area is so beautiful surrounded by beautiful scenery. We could see the snow-covered meadow from our window which was absolutely priceless. It was such a magical atmosphere. During our shorty stay, we often saw the people trekking by just outside our holiday home as well. Also, communication was great too. Owner speaks English is great plus. I highly recommend this place to anyone. It is really rare to find. Do not miss it. You will never regret it. Thank you so much for the unforgettable stay. It was a truly magical experience for us.
