Beautiful location in a very pretty village, and proved to be better than looked on line. We were initially unsure about the kitchen facilities, but they proved to be excellent with a wine glass for every vintage, food to buy and cook and every sort of kitchen utensil you might use. The coffee maker ground the coffee fresh, and there is an excellent baker in the village as well as a grocery. Also a good place to walk around, & you can get down to the lake if you want to.

It’s been such a pleasure to be a guest in A Bonheur des Iris. Christine and her family are great hosts. The accommodation is well located, comfortable, a very quiet place in Rolle, a beautiful village next to Léman lake. Everything was perfect, I hope I will repeat someday. Absolutely recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Glanis. The staff were attentive and were happy to answer any questions that we had. They have taken the time to ensure the place is well set up to make your stay very comfortable and the room itself was spacious and very clean. The location is great as it is right next to the train station (yet we did not hear any noise from the trains). The underground parking was also a big plus for us. Although we didn’t have the chance to visit the restaurant on site, we did read the menu and it sounds delicious. We will have to try it out during our next stay!

Extremely nice and friendly staff, surprisingly great food in a hotel restaurant (the venue is located in a small village), outside terrace and softest mattress possible (if you love them soft you will be on cloud 9). It´s people that make or break your hotel experience, not furniture - so even kind of humbly appearing venue at a first sight can make your stay worth of ***** ritzy experience. And the people in this hotel are amazing and you do feel welcome and appreciated. If I have an opportunity in future to come to this Swiss region again I will definitely pick Auberge Communale à l'Union again, without hesitation!
