The property was beautifully and tastefully decorated. It was cosy and homely. The view from my window across the river was priceless. It was fantastic to have the use of a fully equipped kitchen and somewhere to sit with a laptop. The hosts were friendly and went out of their way to help and provided a delicious breakfast.

The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom was modern and well-maintained. The hotel’s location is perfect – it’s in a quiet area, but still close to key attractions. The view from my room was absolutely stunning, and I spent several mornings just relaxing. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast – it had a wide variety of fresh options, from fruits and pastries to hot dishes. The quality of the food was top. Overall, my experience was exceptional. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and will definitely be returning on my next trip!

Great location, in the city centre, in the historic old town. Close to everything. Vintage furniture is a nice touch.

The Hotel an der Aare Swiss Quality is located in the former nurses’ home of the "Altes Spital" Solothurn (the old Solothurn hospital).
