Staff was very hospitable. A bit challenging to communicate in English, but somehow managed to deal with them in half German, half English :-) They do have in the corridors shoes dryers - which was a huge bonus after a rainy day! Room - good size and clean with quite nice view into the village and mountains.

We went for hiking nearby, so we wanted a hotel that is comfortable but not fancy because we will only sleep there. The hotel was very clean, well maintained, and quiet, meeting all our need. Staffs are very friendly. Restaurant was great. Food are quite nice. They seem to specialize on cordon bleu because one third of the menu is dedicated to different variation of cordon bleu (made my partner very happy).

A perfect place to stay. A couple minutes from buses to Saas valley and trains to Zermatt, yet in a calm town. Great views from rooms and balconies. Well-equipped and thoughtfully furnished rooms, enough sockets, a light switch by the bedside, a desk.
