The kindness and thoughtfulness of the host. She gave us valuable advice on how to visit the huge forest park in limited time. Following her suggested routes, we don't have to queue a minute even during the long weekend holiday. Yes, its location might not be close to other area with shops or restaurants, but we had dinners in the homestay for two evenings, and the dishes were great! Besides, the room is clean, and materials served in the homestay were eco friendly. 10/10 recommended.

Thank you so much for an amazing stay, amazing resor , amazing service and most of all they made us ( me and my wife ) feel like we are very important and special to them. It was like paradise , all the greeting and smiling faces was so relaxing and giving us a hint about what we will find through our stay. Amazing beuatiful lady ( Luna ) was really sweet and helpful and was smiling all the time. The hotel looked much better than on the pictures , it was so beautiful , and nicely decorated and the outside shower was simply amazing, the breakfast was so delicious and they have a variety of food to satisfy all tastes!

First of all. the location is excellent if your goal is to visit the Zhangjiajie National Park. It is a few minutes from the West Entrance which means that you can avoid long queue’s. You can walk to the entrance but the staff is always willing to provide transport if you prefer it. The property is modern and clean and very convenient. We ate breakfast and Dinner at the hotel and the food is good and affordable. The best thing about our stay was the two gentlemen running the hotel. They are very friendly, helpful and fluent in English. They know the park well and help you to plan you day.

Carol was very accommodating, friendly and trustworthy! She gives you all the tips and tricks to get around the park in the most efficient way possible. The walk was also very quick, if you walk fast the gate is less than 5mins away. We had several problems during our trip but Carol was always willing to help us figure things out immediately. Can’t get this type of hospitality from many other accommodations. We really liked the food especially the beer duck it was amazing.

Embraced by the greenery, No.5 Valley Inn is 2 km from the west gate (Yangjiajie ticket booth) of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.

This place is a gem. Rain and his colleague were extremely helpful and both spoke excellent English. Beautiful spacious rooms. Great food for breakfast and dinner. A fun little bar with karaoke for after dinner. Warm infinity pool to soak the bones after a long day out in the park. It is a few minutes drive from the West gate. They drop you off and pick you up for free whenever you want. Service in general outstanding. Sad to leave
