We really enjoyed our stay at the Ecohotel Alma We can look back on a fantastic time in the beautiful “Alma Resort” with its beautifully landscaped garden and a wonderful family who gave us a warm welcome and made our stay a wonderful experience. -Very friendly and attentive staff -we had a spacious 2-bed room with a fan (there are different rooms) -The beds are very comfortable - we slept so well -We really liked the bathroom w/outdoor shower -the location is very quiet (despite the nearby street) -very good breakfast, great coffee, everything fresh (partly. from own garden or surrounding area) -Simple menu for dinner – but very tasty (preferably fish in aluminum foil ;-) -located in a lovely, safe area in the countryside -There are also other restaurants nearby (take a taxi) -a very fair price-performance ratio -Wifi worked perfectly -We even managed to reach Alma by public bus and taxi for the last mile** **We are grateful that we found EcoHotel Alma. They also helped us to organise a visit at Finca Don Leo (organic coffee farm) and at nearby botanical garden with a Columbian's biggest palm collection and a papiliorama (butterfly house). We found a very clean and comfortable flat. With all the necessary to stay in Calarcá. Close by the Botanic Garden and the butterfly house, we just walked around 10 minutes. The host was always available to answer our queries in a courteous and friendly way. We highly recommend this place.

Very comfortable and spacious apartment in a good location near the centre of Calarca. The host speaks great English and was very friendly and helpful. Good warm shower and very useful to have a basic kitchen to make food. There is a lovely waterfall which you can walk to about 6km away. I arrived on bike and there was a secure place to leave my bicycle. The host also helpfully washed my clothes for me for a small payment.
