I had limited knowledge of this hostel as I didn't really read the reviews, but only knew that the location seemed fine and the price was reasonable, also the photos showed a simple set up which I was happy with. Its fair to say I could have stayed in Pijao longer just to stay at Casa Victoria! This place is solely owned by Doña Luz who treats you as a friend/family member. Luz is the most wonderful genuine person who gets so much joy from having guests stay with her. I spent so much time chatting to her whilst she cooked and made coffee in the kitchen. And the kitchen needs to be mentioned here because the view from kitchen/living room is just spectacular and its not shown in any of the photos. Birds visit whilst you sit and drink coffee. It was a very peaceful and beautiful way to wake up in the morning. Nos vemos la proxima año Luz para comer pan de masa madre :D

Wonderful. Very kind host, lovely facilities and fantastic shower. Marta was so helpful and showed us around the pueblo, introduced us to people and suggested places we could go.

Everything, it’s difficult to choose something. Starting from the accommodation, you could see the care they put on building each cabin. The Colibrì cabin has stunning views on the river and the surrounding forest. Waking up listening to the sound of the river and the birds is unique. Pablo and Melissa welcomed us warmly in their hacienda, speaking about Colombia, its nature, its people and its food in a passionate way. We did the permaculture tour with Pablo who walked us through every sector of their farm speaking in details about native plants and their future plan to expand the farm and you could feel his passion about preserving indigenous plants and protecting the environment. Also dinner and breakfast were cooked with love with super local products. In addition Pijao is really a gem, away from touristy places. It’s a pity we spent only two nights there. If you have a chance, book your stay here and you wouldn’t be disappointed!

The hosts were super friendly and did everything to make us feel welcome and home. The dogs and the cat were very cuddly. The area was calm and relaxing. We didn't end up in the room we booked, but it worked out just fine. Breakfast was one of the nicer ones we had in Colombia. The house was very artistic and the interior design was self-made by the owners

Breakfast was simply amazing! Typical colombian breakfast with fruit from their own garden! It was lovely to have breakfast in such a wonderful landscape! The hosts were caring and very fiendly. They are two amazing human beings so I would recommend staying here... meet them and try their delicious coffee

Everything! Pablo and Melissa are incredible hosts - generous and welcoming. They built the cabin by hand and every single detail is incredibly well thought through. The photos don’t do it justice - it’s even more amazing when you get there! They showed us around, were v helpful via WhatsApp, great food, great conversation and a very charming dog! They helped us arrange taxis, dinner and it’s amazingly good value for money… worth spending just for the sounds and scene you wake up to. Surrounded by coffee and banana plants, trees filled with birds and the sound of the river. Not to mention fireflies at night!

Diana is such a nice and kind person. We loved eyerthing in the apartment. It was one of our highlights of the apartments in Columbia. You can relax in the "hängematte" while watching a lot of birds an enyoing the beautiful nature over there. You can only get by willy to the Apartment, but it's a absolut paradise over there. The food was delicous. Diana tould us quite a lot from the farm, the coffee, birds and showed us a beautiful waterfall. We would everybody recommend to take a stop at this Finca. Thank you Diana for everything.

Everything. The staff is always on top of everything, the place is just amazing. This could be the best hotel in the eje cafetero. The rooms are well designed and the view is just amazing. The hotel contrasts with a beautiful town just a few minutes away. The attention to details is excellent.

View was tremendous. Rooms are very comfortable and have thoughtful inclusions like throws to take outside and bug spray. Personnel are exceptionally attentive and food was excellent.
