Excellent service. The rooms are perfect and comfortable with a nice view of the river. Great breakfast. And a paradise for birdwatching. Macaws and many more. Augusto is a great host, and the owner, Alfonso, and his family will make you feel at home.

Amid a tropical forest, these bungalows are the perfect site for guests to go canoeing at the nearby lake, or enjoy the outdoor pool and gardens. The property has its own fruit orchard.

Ficus house - close to Boca Tapada - is a place surrounded by nature, so you can easily watch wildlife directly in front of your door. The host Louis was very friendly. He helped us to organize a boat tour and a rainforest hike with the experienced guide Christian, this was fantastic. There is also a restaurant close by where you can eat or get some refreshments.

With mountain views, La Laguna del Lagarto Eco-Lodge is situated in Pital and has a restaurant, a tour desk, bar, garden and terrace.

Fantastic wildlife. This is one of the best eco-lodges you can find. A mature lodge. Food is excellent and the staff is better. Just a great place. Second trip there.

Absolutely wonderful place to be. Beautiful and comfortable lodge. Abundant birdlife in the garden. A lovely pool and beautifully located next to the river. The lodge is a family buisness, the mother cooks great breakfast, lunch and dinners and Alan, the son, is the host. He was truly an amazing guy and great wildlife guide! We did a night walk with him, he arranged a boat tour, etc... I recommend the place.

Michelle and Henry's accommodations are perfect for everyone who wants to stay away from the hectic of La Fortuna, but still wants to enjoy the highlights of the area. The staff was super friendly. The food at the restaurant was some of the best we had in CR. Hugo was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable. We saw incredible birds (boat-billed herons, green parrots, aras, and many more) and took a boat trip to the border of Nicaragua. On the way, we even saw a crocodile mother with 4 tiny babies.
