This is an absolutely beautiful location in a quiet part of Cahuita. We were looking forward to be surrounded by nature and we loved every minute of it. The gorgeous garden, our extremely knowledgeable host (seriously, let him guide you!), waking up to birds singing and the baboons howling. Definitely our favourite spot in Costa Rica. Passion Fruit Lodge is a tranquil oasis removed from the bustle of the surrounding beach towns. We loved the beautiful landscaping, abundant fruit trees and flowers at every turn down the garden paths. The pool was relaxing and beautiful and there are many hammocks and quiet spots to relax. We did not use the bar area but had a delicious breakfast by our hosts, Bert and Delphine. Rooms felt like we were staying in a tree house. Beds were comfortable and kitchen facilities were basic but just right. Lovely to wake to the sounds of birds and monkeys. We did not want to leave!

It was a pleasure meeting Mia and Gianluca and staying at their lovely place. Easy to find, just a minute walk from the beach, spacious and well maintained. We loved it here (and even extended our stay)! Well equipped kitchen, very clean, owners are very friendly and helpful, we felt very safe. We travel with small kids and they loved it too. It is very close to playa negra, a couple of restaurants are close and about 15 min walking to the center. Walking distance (20 min) to National Park. The outdoor shower to rinse off after a day at the beach is a plus! All in all a great place!
