Everything ! The view is just incredible and the quietness is golden ! Sergio is a really lovely host who’s really looking after his guests making sure that they have everything they need. It was the best place I’ve been to during my trip to Costa Rica. There was a little issue with the shower of the bedroom but Sergio was super nice and proactive to provide a solution. I was also lucky to benefit from an upgrade and stay for the same price in the most beautiful room with a view on the ceiba! Well in a nutschell is was amazing !

The past reviews are true: this is a marvelous home of two amazing hosts which I am so glad we met. The suite room is very comfortable with an amazing bed and very large bathroom. Almost royalty! There is a balcony where you can relax with the view plus a pool downstairs. The breakfast was indeed unique and tasty. Truly amazing hospitality

A perfect place to relax and enjoy the true pura vida of Costa Rica. The view is stunning, and all you can hear is the sound of nature, especially the birds singing. The bed is extremely comfortable, and the space is cozy and very well maintained. Breakfast was delicious, varied, and different every day – a lovely surprise! Carole and Paul were outstanding hosts, always friendly, welcoming, and ready to help with anything we needed. It was an amazing stay in every way!

We felt like home! A place, where we found new energy and positive spirit. Super comfortable and also very well designed. Away from the rush of La Fortuna, but a short ride. Beautiful countryside. If you are a nature lover as we are, you can spot a big colony of montezuma birds right from your window (not noisy). Mountain view from the terase. Super helpful and friendly owners. We didnt want to ever leave.

The breakfast was lovely and different each morning. It was so fresh with plenty of fruit and lovely coconut bread. It was lovely to have breakfast and watch the birds enjoying the fruit that is put out for them each morning. We also had dinner each evening and the menu was so varied and very international. Eyal is a fantastic host, he is a big character and is so welcoming to all guests. The food was absolutely incredible and we ate in each evening as we did not want to go out and miss his wonderful food. Truly outstanding flavours and quality. Such a beautiful setting. Our room was the jungle room and we loved the jungle theme decoration. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was great. We had a really good balcony overlooking the lake.

I stayed here the 2nd time, because Marita’s B&B is marvellous, Marita and Albert are very obliging and lovely host. They took care of me like parents. Breakfast is yummy. Their garden with all the colourful birds splendid. From here you can explore Arenal and Monteverde easily.
