Very close to Lillehaden ( not sure of spelling) train station if arriving from Aalborg direction. This is the final stop before Hirtshals. There is an announcement on the train just before the stop and you must then press the STOP button on the door so that the driver knows to stop at this small station. Excellent large hotel with big comfortable rooms. Very clean. Bar and restaurant facilities. Exceptional staff. Panoramic restaurant. Easy 20 minute walk to Hirtshals centre. I got the train back. Hourly. 24kr. Again you must press the stop button when there is an announcement after leaving Hirtshals. Walking distance to Smyril Line ferry to Faroe Islands and Iceland. About 25 minutes. Hotel reception extremely helpful and will order a taxi if required.

It was absolutely perfect, Anne did a phenomenal job with the renovation and decor. Really modern, cosy, clean and everything you need. 5 minutes drive to the ferry so no stress in the morning, breakfast was already in the fridge so no hustle. Can't wait to see what you're doing with the rest of the place. We will definitely come back!

I loved the atmosphere of the place, the accommodation itself, the welcoming hosts, but above all - breakfast consisting of different fish, sprouts, all very delicious. Peace and quiet surrounding the house was exactly what we needed. The place is really close to the harbor so it is very convenient if you travel to Norway. Highly recommended :)

Beautiful, quiet, charming, cozy, well decorated. We LOVED this house, and would return without a doubt. Everything needed for a stay was there. Nice backyard. We were there for just a night before taking the ferry to Norway but we could have stayed for a week

    Such a beautiful location, with an amazing garden where the kids could run around and we could relax after a long trip. The barn is lived-in, has lots of character (and the occasional bug as you’re in the countryside, effectively fixed with the ‘insect-catcher’ if you need it :) and fine beds with an already made-up baby cot. The host Poul and his dog Max were perfect, made lovely dinner and breakfast from home grown ingredients. We had a perfect stay here, we will definitely come back if we can.
