Short version: an absolutely welcoming and beautiful location with great staff comfortable rooms and well.. just read the long version! I loved it. Location: Strategically located close to Laguna, a beautiful beach during the day and night yet spitting distance from Dahabs center of town with restaurants, bars, markets etc. There is also a gym just around the corner for the fitness nuggets. The property itself is kept in a beautiful state and there are continuous efforts to improve it further. The spacious roof top terrace offers amazing views of the ocean, mountains, Dahab and the more open south and is designed to feel comfortable and at home, to chill with friends or by oneself. Rooms: my room was an appartmentstyle room with a living room, sleeping room and bathroom. It’s comfortable, clean and practical with its own balcony a lot of seating options and great working facilities. Of course there is an AC for those who need it, hot water showers and toilet that works great. What I particularly liked and honestly haven’t experienced anywhere else before is that you are in charge of what happens to your room and when. Let me explain: the staff won’t enter your room unless you ask them to clean or change bedsheets or towels etc.. now I get it that for people who have a more hotel like service in mind this might feel strange, but I honestly feel it provides additional freedom which is otherwise sometimes missing. In other words, if you want your room cleaned and sheets changed every day, they will happily do so, yet if you are fine with cleaning just every other day or whenever it fits your schedule the most (where the freedom comes in) that is fine too, so it supports the home away from home feeling of being able to fully relax in your room without having to expect the knock from room service on the door. In other words just another aspect that gives you control over your stay for it to be the way you prefer it.
