This was a renovated rustic manor house in a quiet location on the outskirts of Montoire sur le Loir with a lovely pool area and outdoor seating areas. There was a large communal guest lounge with TV and DVDs (some in English) and large dining table for 6 people and a communal kitchen where our host Jerome prepared a good breakfast. We had the double bedroom with a small modern ensuite shower room. There were 2 other bedrooms (adjoined) with use of the downstairs bathroom. There was secure parking and we were given a remote control for the external gates. Good location for cycling along the Loir river (Sport Passion 41 bike hire shop in Montoire but closed Sunday and Monday) and there was a Lidl just down the road in Montoire. We had a lovely meal in the Italian restaurant Le Piron on Jerome's recommendation. A nice relaxing stay.

Excellent location for a one week vacation with kids for visiting the castles. Very nice hosts, check-out the spa possibilities of the house, especially if the weather is not nice! It really makes the location an excellent stay! Perfectly equipped house, quiet and nicely decorated. Thank you Natalie for everything, should we come back in the area, we will stay again "à la Cave". :)
