    Host was fantastic really felt like you were staying with family, the bar was buzzing so was a little worried about any noise but as soon as I closed the door you would never have known! Breakfast spot on, staff very friendly and accommodating

    We liked visiting a different area in the forest.Michelle was a super host being local gave great advice,so friendly and funny whilst making sure you were looked after,we had more of a quiet stay as it is a local pub but only opens to the public Wednesday onwards.You can get a drink at the bar Monday and Tuesday Our room was spacious,very comfy and bright and suitable for a family,would absolutely stay again.

    Squeaky clean, looked brand new. As if we were the first guests staying there. Host Nadine was very helpful throughout our stay. Her tips for places to visit made for a wonderful vacation in the Forest of Dean. I can definitely recommended this lodge to families (with younger children) and couples who want to explore the area.
