    This is an exceptional guest house and better than all other places we stayed at a comparable price point. family room had a separated space for the children to sleep. It’s right next to the town centre and a couple of super markets at which to stock up. Great shower and nicely decorated room.

    Peter and Ian run a first-class establishment serving a good variety for breakfast, in a beautiful dining room full of antiques and pictures. We especially enjoyed the smoked salmon with scrambled eggs. Our room was spacious, comfortable and cosy. Peter recommended Scribbles for an evening meal, which we loved. We did not have time to use the lovely lounge, furnished with more antiques and a baby grand piano. Excellent value for money and would not hesitate to book again.
