The location is perfect and our cottage was lovely.. the tipi tent on site is brilliant, you can rent it for special occasions. They do pizza nights with a bar where you can chill out and chat to other guests. We hired the fire pit for a couple of hours the kids loved it toasting marshmallows..

Lovely property and exactly as described. Staff were super helpful. The house had everything we needed, except shower gel!! The one thing we didn’t bring! But it was wonderful and we would definitely stay again and would recommend!!

Room was really spacious for us (a family of 4) very comfortable with a lovely view. The staff were throughout our stay, especially the lovely lady at reception. Our daughter had been unwell at dinner and all the staff were so thoughtful & helpful with what was an awkward situation for us.

Fabulous location up Dell Road at the back of the village just a 15 minute stroll from the village centre and shop either down the road or better still along the river side path. Dell woods, part of the Abernathy forest are right at the property boundary with some fabulous walks in them. The lounge are is fantastic as is the kitchen layout and with 4 bedrooms (2 en suite) plus a further communal bathroom there is plenty of space for large families. The gar£en is large and great for relaxing in or perhaps running about with the little ones!

Bar meals good value. Couple of good snooker tables to use after dinner is great fun. Staff pleasent. To really enjoy the hotel you have to have the correct mindset, it's an old classic Victorian building with all the challenges of maintaining an old property. It's clean and maintained where necessary and part of the "Fawlty Tower" charm is to embrace the comically worn bits.

A lovely spacious property, really well equipped. We had a fantastic trip and were really comfortable. With small children it was perfect to be so close to the playground as well.
