    The size of the room was wonderful, and I don't think I've ever seen a bigger double bed! We had a family room, and there was plenty of space for me and my two kids, with one of them on the not big but perfectly comfortable sofa bed. The staff at breakfast were extremely nice and helpful, and it was great to be able to have a full gluten and dairy free english breakfast, even if not of the best quality. My kids enjoyed the buffet too, though not the watery hot chocolate or the lack of chocolate spread!:)

    Lovely hotel, spacious rooms, excellent staff, all very helpful, friendly and polite. Good food at fair prices. Good amenities, coffee/tea and biscuits in rooms. Good location, quite area. We booked 4 rooms for a family stay.

    The room had been recently painted, which was nice, spacious and the bed was huge and really comfortable. Lovely hot shower. Even though there was a function on the afternoon/evening we arrived- we never heard a thing, so very peaceful. We didn’t eat at the hotel so unable to comment.

    Always stay there when visiting family it is ideal. Our room was nice as ever and the staff are always friendly.

    Loved the room being spacious over looking gardens. Room service offered a great menu, affordable. The bar with Starbucks coffee was fab and little lounge room next to bar so sweet for grabbing a quiet drink, working and eating

    Nice rooms. Bar area good, plenty of eating areas. Because we had a dog with us and there were 10 of us, the staff set us up a table in the bar area rather than the restaurant which was good of them. Food was excellent and staff were patient with so many ordering and children as well. After meal Nice place to relax and have a nice family time. Would definitely visit again.

    All the staff we met were very welcoming, particularly to our young children. Due to it being an older hotel we expected it to feel quite tired but our room was in good condition and features like the sash windows gave it character. We had a large room for our family of 4. Breakfast was a standard buffet, with plenty of choice.

    The staff at this hotel were the most friendly and helpful that we have come across for many years, the reason for our visit was to attend a family funeral so we did not partake of dinner, the breakfast was substantial and very well presented.
