    Bertie Pontypridd has a set of rooms above a lively neighbourhood pub. The night I arrived there was loud karaoke but I could not hear it from my room at all. My room was simple and no-nonsense: tidily decorated and squeaky clean this is not, but if you need to attend a wedding in Pontypridd, this can do. The bus stop is just outside so you can move in the valley quite easily (but please note the bus travel times!). My room was bigger than I needed it and the bathroom functional, with hot water readily available.

    No food and disgusting is the only word to describe this awful hotel I can honestly say this is the worst place ever

    When we arrived the locals were in the pub singing Kareoke. It was so much fun. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. It was just a great vibe. The room was OK, great value for money and clean enough. Just a really lovely place because of the people.
