    Car parking was ample. Breakfast was good. Staff were efficient. We were upgraded to a family room as there were functions on both nights we were staying and the hotel gave us a room away from the noise without us asking. Sauna and steam rooms were a bonus.

    We met as a family for a family funeral. Everyone was fabulous and welcoming. Special thanks to Jackie Bennett - what a fab lady who kept us all in check!! Reception ladies very helpful and breakfast girls went out of their way to look after us.

    Food for family funeral function was top notch. Viktoria at the function room bar was exceptionally helpful and nice. The area was very convenient to couple of restaurants/pubs. Zooma (Indian) and Oddfellows were nicest. Not too far from public transport spots.

    The property itself looks great and parking is plentiful. Our family room was spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 children.

    Price. Family room booked just a week earlier for just 1 night (Saturday / Sunday which in most of the places is most expensive time of the week) was in reasonable price £90. Good size family room. Iron board and iron in the room. Separate toilet and bathroom. Good communication. I have got an email a few days before my stay if l need a sofa bed (l have booked for myself and 3 kids). Friendly reception staff. Close to railway station, 5 minutes walk, it was important for me.
