Stella and Stefanos are the best hosts ever. They are very friendly and very thoughtful. They go out of their way to make you feel at home. Our suite was very well-equipped; it had everything guests might possibly need during their stay. And everything was sparkling clean. We had a great stay!

We enjoyed everything : the kindness of our hosts, the location, the residence is awesome! We stayed in a wonderful suite, made with good taste (beautiful wood furniture for example) and the terrace was very pleasant. We had all the attention and some good advice for the local restaurants and feasts (panigiri) from our hosts. We, as a family of 5 with 3 young kids, highly recommend this accommodation. We had a wonderful stay in this lovely home in Raches, Ikaria. The house was spotlessly clean and truly one of those rare places where you instantly feel at home. It was incredibly comfortable, and the thoughtful treats left for us were such a kind touch. Although you have to take a short dirt road to get there, it’s absolutely worth it for the stunning sunset views. Highly recommended!

We are currently staying in Karavostamo but fancied a change of scenery. I had holidayed in Greece for 21 of the 26 years together, but recently my partner died and I have found it difficult to settle this year. The Mesaktis Rooms were exactly what I needed. A beautiful tranquil setting, our terrace looked down on to a small lagoon. The owners gave me and my friend homemade lemonade and the most delicious homegrown figs, which we consumed whilst overlooking the lagoon, which was home to over 30 turtles! We were given bread with which to feed them. What a sight to feast your eyes on while we drank our delicious lemonade! The accommodation is rustic, it’s not luxurious, but it’s what we both loved about this place. There are tavernas beds are comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need to make a simple meal. There are tavernas maybe 5 minutes walk away, a mini market next door, and over the road there is probably the best beach on Ikaria - Mesaktis beach. At the far end is a lagoon in which you can see even more turtles! The hosts, as you may have picked up on, were so generous and warm. I miss the place, the kittens and Sadi the dog already. This has been the standout experience so far of this 3 week Greek island hopping trip. I absolutely loved it, and it helped me along in my grief journey. To the owners: thank you for your hospitality, for letting me leave the car on your premises after we had checked out, and sorry for taking the room key!

Super nice host, the appartment was just perfect and squeakily clean. In a quiet location, perfect to relax and with an amazing view from the panoramic swimming pool. No problems finding parking, walking distance from Nanouras beach and just a 5 minutes drive from nice Taverns in Nas Village. Hope to come back one day 🙂

The owner welcomed us warmly upon arrival and showed us our room, which I think even nicer than in the pictures. It seemed to be freshly renovated, everything was very clean, and it had an amazing view from the big terrace. Comfortable bathroom with spacious shower. There's also a small fridge which is quite useful. The location is convenient, up in the mountains between two villages, wich are just a short ride (or 10 mins walk) away. Hiking paths closeby.

The name of hotel Kerame derives from the surrounding area, which is situated only 1 km from the traditional settlement and the port of Evdilos.
