The small village of Megalochori is just a 10 minute walk, there are restaurants, bars and a few trinket shops. If you wish to travel to other resorts and you don’t want to hire a car this place is perfect, the bus stop is a few minutes walk and will take you all over the island for approx €2 each way. Met us at the Family bakery to take us to our stay. We had such an amazingly comfortable sleep.. Breakfast was delivered to our door from the family bakery promptly 8am. Right near the old town, and bakery 3min walk. Easy access to airport and port via taxi (10-15mins). Our host, Vasia, was very friendly and helpful- arranged taxi transport and gave good recommendations for food. Also had cot for baby.
