We first stayed here three years ago, just the two of us before our son was born, and it was absolutely wonderful. So when we decided to return to Crete this year, this place was an obvious choice — and just like back then, we were more than satisfied this time as well. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and everyone here is incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. You truly feel at home. We had breakfast (15€/person), which was already great three years ago, but this time it was even better — a wide variety that has something for everyone. The beach is just a few minutes from the hotel and it's truly stunning — long and spacious. We’ll definitely come back again someday. If I had to mention one small thing, it would be this: it would be great to have a “Do Not Disturb” sign for the room. The cleaning schedule isn’t always at the same time every day, and sometimes when you just want a quiet moment, a sign like that would be helpful. But that’s honestly just a small detail — maybe even a little inspiration for a minor improvement at what is otherwise an absolutely fantastic place. We can fully and sincerely recommend it to anyone. On top of that, our journey here was quite complicated, so we had to cancel the arranged airport transfer and reschedule it for another day. Due to a change in our return flight, we also needed to stay an extra night — and again, nothing was ever a problem. So with this review, we’d like to thank the entire team for a truly wonderful holiday

The apartment was in the center of Platanes. Perfect location to explore beautiful beaches nearby and on the south. Fully equipped kitchen that had everything you might need. Thanks to the host for olive oil! The beds were very comfortable. The terrace was big enough and spacious. We enjoyed our meals there. Parking space was always available, we were lucky. The host also gave us an umbrella - that saved us a lot! It is located in a +- silent place, sometimes there was music outside, however it was not till late night. The beach was nearby in 5 min walk. The Lidl supermarket could be reached by foot in 7 mins. Also, the apartment was cleaned once during our 5 days stay. Perfect accommodation !!

A good location for a stress-free holiday in Platanes, La Stella Suites is an aparthotel surrounded by views of the garden.

The Breakfast was good. Location 90 Minutes away from Chania Airport. Taxi Costa 100 Euro. 5 Minutes Walking Distance to the beach. Stores and Restaurants opens longer until 10 pm. Nice experience. People are chill relax and really friendly. Weather perfect.

Perfect accommodation! Everything was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The pool and jacuzzi were pure enjoyment, and the breakfast was delicious. Great location – peaceful, yet close to everything. The owners are wonderful, kind, and always ready to help. We’d come back again without a second thought!

The Rethymno Village is just 100 metres from the fine sand and blue sea of Platania’s beach. It offers a Greek restaurant and a fresh-water pool with pool-side snack bar.

Great hotel. Super clean and staff very professional, polite, and helpful. Our room was lovely . Very spacious and lots of storage. The food was outstanding and delicious. The snack bar by the pool had pastries and ice cream which the kids really enjoyed. Thanks

The fully furnished accommodations were tastefully decorated and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals throughout the day, and the beach bar was a great spot for enjoying a sunset drink. Overall, a wonderful experience!

The hospitality shown by Manos and his family was exceptional. Arrived quite late and was met by Manos with a beer. Always treats from his dad Nikkos (raki) and cake from his mum. Rooms always cleaned and fresh towels and sheets. If you needed anything you only had to ask. Stayed for a month so cooked evening meals several times and found the kitchen and utensils adequate. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return. We arrived as guests and left as friends.
