Location was great for visiting Plitvice Lakes - Entrance 3 was nearby and provided easy access to the Park (I had pre-booked tickets for Entrance 2 but that wasn't a problem). Jasminka was very helpful and accommodating (e.g. no problem dropping off our bags before check-in so that we didn't waste any time) and gave great advice for visiting the Lakes which made a big difference to getting the most from our visit instead of being stuck in long queues for the boats in the park. Rooms (we booked two for one night) and en suite bathrooms were spacious and hotel standard. It was great to be able to have a relaxing drink on the outside terrace after coming back from dinner (Lička kuća beside Entrance 1) having explored the lower lakes that afternoon. We had buffet breakfast the next morning on the terrace before leaving which worked well for different appetites in our family.

House Tina is situated in the peaceful village of Grabovac, a 10-minute drive from the UNESCO-listed Plitvice Lakes National Park. It features free WiFi and a large garden with a swimming pool.

I travel around the world every year to many places, and it’s rare that I stay just one night and get a clear impression of my host. However, this wonderful lady exceeded all my expectations in what hospitality truly means. There’s no need to talk about the apartment itself – she could have set up a bed in the yard, and it would have been enough because the way she makes you feel upon arrival is simply amazing! She greets you with a warmth that’s rarely found, making you feel as if you’ve known each other for 20 years. Her readiness to help with recommendations is incredible! The apartment was very clean, well-furnished, spacious, and you won’t lack anything. If I return to this area, this will definitely be my first choice!

The apartment was really nice, located just a few kilometers away from Plitivice Lake. We had a relaxing stay there after a long walk in the national park. The Jacuzzi is a plus point (we could soak ourselves in warm water after a long day). The hosts are really passionate when it comes to food. They prepared us a 3 course traditional croatian dinner. It was a hearty meal. For 30 euros per person it was reasonable considering the amount of food you get. All in all, we were satisfied with the stay and definitely will come back again when we visit Croatia!
