This property is the most beautiful, majestic space with breathtaking architecture. It is nestled into a hill with views of The Burren and the sound of flowing water is around every corner. There are several inviting common areas complete with fireplaces and the feeling of contemplation and peace. We topped off our eve with a whiskey at the “help yourself” bar. The next morning we visited the Ailwee Caves (a must see) and the 16th century tower house called Newtown Castle which is part of Burren College of Art - there was true student talent. Both places are a short walk or drive from The Waters Country House. This is a one of a kind B & B NOT to be missed and Wolfgang and Maria are the most gracious proprietors!

Fairly big B&B in the Burren area. Wonderfully quiet, very nice room with everything one could want. Great view out onto pastures. The owners are super nice and welcoming. Choice of breakfast is hard as everything is freshly cooked and very tasty. :-) Ballyvaughan is small yet there are a number of great restaurants in the area.

The House it's precial, you feel like living in an old castle. Everything is super elegant, quite and cozy atmophere. Family with kids have to be a bit careful because it's full of fine and nice items that would be a pity to damage. Nevertheless the host will not make you feel uncofortable because of it.

Just wonderful in every way... The location, room, breakfast, lounge areas, Maria and Wolfgang. Kids adored hanging out by the fire and collecting spring water to drink. Very close to aillwee caves, easy drive to wild Atlantic way, Cliffs of Moher, Doolin, chocolate factory. Would highly recommend.
