We learned that this family hotel is almost 200 years old!! The restaurant was quaint and delightful, service was lively and friendly, food was delicious and varied, I really wanted to stay for another dessert 😁Guest review byAnnYoung couple

Location was perfect, very central. I stayed here the night before beginning a 3 day 450KM cycle along the Wild Atlantic Way for Laura Lynn, Ireland's only children's hospice. It is very large, with all 3 bedrooms being en-suite which is brilliant. The ‘upside down’ layout of the house suited us very well indeed as we have older kids and it afforded everyone privacy. But it might not be as great for families with younger children. For the price paid, this is honestly amongst the best on offer in Clifden. The house was equipped with everything we needed and furnished comfortably. The reserved parking space in a secure underground car park, with lift access, was a very welcome bonus.
