We had a lovely greeting at the reception and the lady walked us to our room insisting to help carry our bags. The food was exceptional .. we had evening meal in the beautiful restaurant, breakfast the following morning and lunch that afternoon before going home. The staff are very attentive and friendly. We enjoyed drinks in the bar and live music and had a brilliant night. The area around is stunning with the beach right outside the hotel. The cliff walk and harbour are nearby.

Martin and Edna were great hosts, we were warmly welcomed and shown around, they also gave good advice on what to do and see in the area. The lodge is set in lovely gardens in a quiet, rural area not far from eating places and historic sites. Our room was well appointed with comfortable furnishings, lots of space and everything we needed for our stay. Breakfasts were delicious with homemade granola, fresh fruit, pastries and a range of other choices for a hot or cold meal. Nick enjoyed an omelette each morning along with generous servings of coffee and tea.

I was there as part of the bridal party for a wedding and I have to say it was exceptional! Incredibly friendly and open staff, beautiful location and decor, breakfast has to be the best hotel breakfast I have ever had! There was nothing that we asked for that was denied.
